Prayagraj | June 16, 2025 – In a remarkable surgical achievement, a 40-year-old woman underwent a successful operation at Nazareth Hospital, Prayagraj, for the removal of a massive 8-kilogram ovarian cyst along with her inflamed gall bladder, which contained stones and was affected by infection. The patient, who had been experiencing abdominal discomfort for over two years, presented to the hospital’s outpatient department just two days before the surgery. A thorough diagnostic workup revealed a giant ovarian cyst causing severe compression of the intestines, in addition to gallstones and cholecystitis (infection of the gall bladder). The complex surgery was carried out by a skilled team of specialists led by Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Dr. Dhawal Kirti Tiwari and Dr. Dharmendra Singh (Surgeons), with Dr. S.B.
